Team RD

To be part of this team, you've got to

live and breathe our core philosophy:

“The Ridin’ Dirty lifestyle embodies the grit, fortitude

and gut instinct needed to achieve and survive

in situations when others quit. There are times in life

to practice a little restraint… this isn’t one of them.”

GREATEST ACCOMPLISHMENTS: I have worked probably 15 or 20 World Finals but I am most proud of the PBR Australian Cup Finals in Sydney.
FAVORITE RIDIN' DIRTY PRODUCTS: I like the Ridin' Dirty shorts that I work events in because the show the subtle details of my manly figure.
HOW THE RIDIN' DIRTY MOTTO APPLIES TO YOUR LIFE: "Practice no Restraint" could likely fit in most people's day to day activities that take part in our western lifestyle. For me it is a way of life in and out of the arena. Entertaining fans at these events is no easy task, you have to truly "practice no restraint" and give every ticket holder their money's worth. Having a family including two small children at home makes my traveling a lot more stressfull than that of a single man. I will work over one hundred performances a year and I "practice no restraint' when it comes to getting back home to those I love. Unlike contestants, I plan to do this for quite some time. Its a lifetime career for me and I cant afford to let up. I make memories each time I perform if its simply seeing someone having fun or one of those special moments when I meet a kid who looks up to me.
HEROES & PEOPLE YOU LOOK UP TO: My heros in this buisness are Gary Crocker and Flint Rassmussen.
RITUALS OR HABITS: I always pray before each event and do some really weird stretches.
FAVORITE FOODS: Pan seared tuna steak with wasabi
IF YOU WEREN'T DOING THIS FOR A LIVING: I would probably play professional billiards.

HOW YOU SPEND FREE TIME/ HOBBIES: hunting, fishing
TRAVELING PARTNERS: My wife and kids go with me occasionally and I really like to travel with announcers and music directors that are working events with me.
ADVICE YOU'D GIVE TO OTHERS LOOKING TO GET INTO THE INDUSTRY: Find a way to look at people in an audience and connect with them, make each person feel like they are who you are there to entertain.

HOW DOES THE RIDIN' DIRTY PHILOSOPHY APPLY TO YOUR LIFE? Before I even knew about Ridin' Dirty, I lived their philosophy. When I was for Track & Cross Country, I'd work till I bled. Today, I still work till I bleed. Sometimes it's just a cut on my finger, other times it's more; blood, sweat and go into my job as a Stock Contractor. If I quit, my bulls quit... that's not acceptable.

ADVICE TO OTHERS TRYING TO MAKE IT IN THIS SPORT: Don't be afraid to ask questions. Be aggressive yet respectful. Have a great support system of friends of family. Above all, be patient... this is a game that requires time and dedication. Plan on being in it at least 7 years before the income becomes substantial.
OTHER INTERESTING FACTS ABOUT YOU: I don't mind getting muddy... or getting crap on myself. I hate needles. I tend to overdress. I have a small tattoo of a treblehook which represents my family (3 Hooks.) I think I have manly hands so I get fake nails to dress them up. My favorite road trip artist Adrian The Buckaroo Girl.
